The Eco Club of Government Degree College Kandaghat plays an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst students and public in the vicinity. The club provides a platform to create awareness about biodiversity conservation and local environmental issues by urging students and public to adapt their daily habits to the most sustainable options and adopt eco-friendly practices like recycling & saving non-renewable resources.

Mission

• To create awareness among the students to Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
• Spread awareness about the importance of coexistence in the eco – system within the capacity of the Earth.
• Conducting activities like planting trees, cleanlinessdrives and organizing competitions on various environmental issues.
• Encourages ‘Green Initiatives’ by educating the college about pollution and environmental hazards through human activities and measures to minimize it.
• Organising talks to emphasize and encourage the need to go green for a healthier and better world.
